MyBuilder and TradieSwap are both marketplaces. The homeowner posts the job, trades express interest, the customer shortlists, and you pay a fee when you are picked and details are shared. The differences:

When we will (and will not) refund
We do not refund a lead because a customer is quiet or picks someone else. We do refund a fake or already-filled job, unusable details from our error, or a duplicate charge — claims within 14 days, per the Refund Policy.
Keep MyBuilder if it wins you work
Plenty of trades use both. You are not asked for a monthly fee here, so there is nothing to cancel if a month is quiet. The full comparison has the details.
