Use the button above to change your cookie choice at any time — it reopens the cookie banner.
Cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) are small files stored on your device when you use a website. We use them to keep TradieSwap working, keep you signed in, remember your preferences and — only if you accept — understand how the site is used. This policy is provided in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Strictly necessary — needed for logging in, keeping the platform secure and storing your cookie choice. These do not need your consent and cannot be switched off.
Analytics — help us understand which pages are used and where visitors come from, so we can improve the platform. These are set only after you press "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you press "Decline", analytics stays off.
Preference cookies — remember choices you make, such as your cookie consent and notification preferences.
Payment and infrastructure providers — Stripe (our payment processor) and Base44 (our hosting and app platform) may set cookies that are necessary for payment security and fraud prevention. These are strictly necessary for the service you asked for.
We do not use advertising or ad-network cookies.
Our cookie banner offers a genuine choice: Accept turns on analytics cookies; Decline leaves them off. Your choice takes effect from your next page load. You can change your mind at any time — the "Cookie settings" button on this page and in the website footer reopens the banner.
The table below lists the cookies TradieSwap uses. Entries marked as platform-level are set by our hosting platform (Base44) or payment provider (Stripe); we will complete exact live names from the platform's cookie list as the site evolves.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| ts_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie choice (preference) | Until you change it | TradieSwap |
| Platform session cookies (names to be confirmed from the live list) | Keeping you signed in and the platform secure (strictly necessary) | Session | Base44 |
| Stripe cookies (names to be confirmed from the live list) | Payment security and fraud prevention (strictly necessary) | Varies | Stripe |
| Platform analytics (names to be confirmed from the live list) | Understanding how the site is used (analytics — only after Accept) | Up to 12 months | Base44 |
